Order of Protection
I work for you to help keep you safe. An Order For Protection is a court order that will help to protect you from domestic abuse. An Order For Protection tells the abuser to stop harming or threatening you. See the representative cases.
Family Law
I work for both men and women in divorce and child custody cases, including setting appropriate child support, visitation schedules, appeals, and other matters. The fee for family law cases is an hourly rate plus a retainer. See the representative cases.
Personal Injury
I help those who suffer injuries or losses when others cause or substantially contribute to causing the harm or death. There can be more than one cause of a loss, injury or death. Tennessee law allows almost every insurance company to be reimbursed for health care bills that it paid, but only when a verdict or settlement is obtained. Typical fees for this kind of work is 1/3 of any verdict or settlement. See the representative cases.
Workers' Compensation
I help those hurt on their jobs recover from their employers' workers' compensation insurance company. I also help obtain workers' compensation benefits for the families of workers killed while working. Benefits paid as workers' compensation almost always must be reimbursed if a verdict or settlement is reached in another lawsuit regarding the work accident. The fee for workers' compensation cases is 20% of any verdict or settlement. See the representative cases under Workers' Compensation.
Products Liability
If a manufacturer makes something that is unreasonably defective or dangerous, the manufacturer may be liable for injuries or deaths caused by its products. The fee for products liability cases is 40% of any verdict or settlement. See the representative cases.
